Evangelism Conference Jan. 27-28

___The Texas Baptist Evangelism Conference, scheduled for Jan. 27-28 at First Baptist Church in Arlington, will address the theme "Evangelism for Someone Like You."
___The Baptist General Convention of Texas event includes blended and contemporary worship services, a visit to Mission Arlington and more than 40 workshop options designed to help improve and expand evangelism techniques.
___Featured speakers include David Hardage, pastor of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs; Chris Seay, pastor of Ecclesia Church in Houston; Jim Baucom, pastor of Columbia Baptist Church in Falls Church, Va., and past moderator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship; and Michael Bell, pastor of Greater St. Stephen First Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
___An African-American Fellowship-sponsored pre-evangelism worship service is scheduled for Jan. 26 at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Douglas Brown, pastor of Great Commission Baptist Church in Fort Worth, will preach.
___Other events around the meeting are the Conference for Texas Baptist Evangelists Jan. 27 and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Texas breakfast Jan. 28. Reservations are required for the breakfast and may be made by contacting Judy Battles at (817) 419-8100.
