___ Belvue Church in Kermit, 40th, May 4-7. A 9 a.m. breakfast on Sunday will kick off four days of an anniversary revival. Preaching at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday will be Bill Campbell, pastor of First Church in Gorman. Jimmy Law, pastor of Chapel Hill Church in Odessa will preach Monday evening; Lee Fuller, pastor of Wylie Church in Abilene will preach Tuesday evening; and Bobby Braswell, pastor of Apollo Heights Church in El Paso, will preach Wednesday evening. All evening services will be at 7 p.m. Lunch will be served at noon each day with Pastor Gene Cannon bringing a devotional.

___Retiring
___ Tom Shelton as pastor of First Church in Weatherford, April 6. Shelton has been pastor of the church 17 years and has been a pastor more than 40 years. Previous pastorates include First Church in Port Arthur, Faith Church in Wichita Falls, Highland Avenue Church in Beaumont, First Church in Bartlett and Nassau Bay Church in Houston.
___ Olin Boles as executive director of Gulf Coast Association, at the end of June. He has served the association eight years and has been in ministry 50 years. In addition to his service to the association, Boles was a Southern Baptist missionary to Brazil 14 years and served as pastor to Texas Baptist churches for 28 years. Prior to his retirement, Boles is making a tour of churches within the association. A reception honoring him will be held May 3 at First Church in Lake Jackson. ___ Wideawake will be in concert at Wilshire Church in Dallas' Downstairs Café April 11 at 8 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $10. George Mason is pastor.
___ RezFest, an outdoor concert, will be held April 12 at HBJ Stadium in Garland beginning at 4:30 p.m. Featured bands include The Elms, Benjamin Gate, Blisse, and Seventh Day Jericho. Dallas Cowboy Woody Dantzler will be the featured speaker. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the gate. ___ First Church in Millsap will be the site of a barbecue cookoff, auction, and fiddle and gospel music April 12 from noon to 5 p.m. The auction will help the church pave its parking lot. Tracy Holcomb is pastor.
