Robert Mangrum, university historian and professor of history and government at Howard Payne University, has published an account of the university’s history 
Robert Mangrumtitled For Howard Payne My All: 125 Years of Christian Higher Education and Service, 1889-2015, An Encyclopedia.

Retiring
Roy Marshall, as pastor of First Baptist Church in Hewitt after 40 years of service. A reception will be held Dec. 20 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Baylor Club, located inside McLane Stadium.
