Around the State: HPU awards leadership honor

Howard Payne University’s Woman’s Club honored Debra Wilson with the 2015 Yellow Rose Award. The award is presented annually to a woman who has exhibited leadership within her sphere of influence, who has exhibited fiscal, emotional or physical support to the university, and who represents Christian values and beliefs.

B.H. Carroll Theological Institute awarded degrees and diplomas to 17 graduates during spring convocation and graduation ceremonies. Included in that number are doctor of philosophy degrees awarded to Jeremy Greer of Arkadelphia, Ark. and Justin Tollison of Fort Worth.
