WASHINGTON (RNS)—Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, is rejecting the “evangelical” label, saying it “has become almost meaningless this year, and in many ways is at the moment subverting the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
