Baptist Standard Publishing will launch its new podcast, ‘On the Way,’ on April 1. The podcast takes its name from the first name for Christians, who were known as people of “the Way.” It focuses on two questions: How did a person become a follower of Jesus, and what difference does following Jesus make in that person’s life.

The intent of the podcast is to further the mission of Baptist Standard Publishing, which is to inform, inspire and challenge people to live like Jesus. It also is an expression of one of the Standard’s core commitments—the redeeming and reconciling work of Jesus Christ.

The first season of the podcast will feature interviews with a pastor and his wife, a hospital administrator, a skateboarder, a family physician, a seminary student and a journalist, among others.

Listeners can subscribe to and download the ‘On the Way’ podcast on Apple PodcastsSpotifyStitcher and Google Podcasts or listen on Amazon Alexa via TuneIn. Listeners also will be able to sign up to receive an email notification when new episodes are released.

In addition to launching the ‘On the Way’ podcast, the Baptist Standard app will be available very soon for Apple and Android devices in the Apple and Google Play Stores.
