Ted Savage, 87, July 28 in Livingston. He was pastor to senior adults at Central Baptist Church in Livingston at the time of his death, a position he held 10 years. Ted SavageThe youngest of 13 children, he was a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Verna, served as missionaries in Zambia 12 years. He also worked nine years for the Radio and Television Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. He was a pastor to congregations in Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas, and served two years as a prison chaplain. He is survived by his wife of 62 years; daughters, Maria Turner and Michele Edlin; son, Michael; brother, Leon; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
