Regents release some details about Baylor sexual violence scandal

The sexual violence scandal at Baylor University reportedly involved 17 women who reported assaults by 19 Baylor athletes since 2011, including four alleged gang rapes.

Officials at Baylor University finally broke their steadfast silence over the sexual-violence scandal that led to the departures of Football Coach Art Briles and the school’s President Ken Starr. The scandal involved 17 women who reported domestic violence or sexual assaults that involved 19 players since 2011, and four were alleged gang rapes, according to some Baylor regents.
