The Baptist Standard is participating in North Texas Giving Day. On Sept. 22, every donation of $25 or more will be multiplied when donors contribute to the Standard through www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org, a website powered by Communities Foundation of Texas.

Donors may visit www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org on Thursday, Sept. 22, between 6 a.m. and midnight Central Time, search for “Baptist Standard Publishing” and click “Donate Now.” Donors may live anywhere—not just North Texas—to participate.

Tax-deductible donations will go a long way in helping Baptist Standard Publishing continue to fulfill its mission to inform, inspire and challenge people to live like Jesus, Editor Marv Knox said.

Plus, gifts of $25 or more given through www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org on Sept. 22 will qualify the Standard to receive a portion of more than $2.5 million in bonus funds and prizes—making all donations go further, he added.

Because of friends and supporters, Baptist Standard Publishing is able to produce award-winning news outlets:

  • www.baptiststandard.com — our website, updated daily
  • The Baptist Standard — our weekly digital news journal, delivered on Thursdays
  • CommonCall: The Baptist Standard Magazine — our quarterly features magazine

“We work hard to make sure your investment in our ministry touches lives,” Knox said. “After all, we’re stewards of the Lord’s resources—time, talent and funds.

“Your financial support is vital to our mission. Please help us make the most of your support by donating to Baptist Standard Publishing on North Texas Giving Day. We appreciate it—and you—far more than we can express.”

Donations made through the North Texas Giving Day website are tax-deductible and will be processed through the Communities Foundation of Texas. Donors will receive an acknowledgement email, as well as an official gift substantiation/tax receipt.

Donations will appear on credit card statements as being payable to “CFTexas NTX Giving Day.” A credit card transaction/processing fee of 5.09 percent of the amount of the gift will be deducted from each donation. If you use the donation form on a nonprofit profile page, you will have the option to cover the fees.
