Why is Christianity a faith that sings? More than 2,000 worship leaders and Christian musicians from around the country gathered on the Baylor University campus to explore that question during the “Fantastical” Church Music Conference.

Summer missions confirms calling for Wayland sophomore
Jess Martinez, a student at Wayland Baptist University, spent the summer working with a church in Burley, Idaho, through the SBC North American Mission Board and discovered God could use her to minister to youth. That's when she felt her call to Christian service was confirmed.

Youth leaders find R&R at Youth Ministry Conclave
As youth ministers and leaders from across Texas gathered at Youth Ministry Conclave on Oct. 11-13, they were greeted with a challenge to stop adding additional ministry or spiritual disciplines in an attempt to avoid spiritual emptiness and first learn to be refreshed by walking with Jesus.

CBF using earthquake rubble to build homes for Haiti families
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is entering a new relief phase in Haiti, moving families into permanent homes built from the rubble created by the Jan. 12 earthquake that left them homeless.
