Missions Mania attracts crowd. Many of the boys prayed for and raised money to support a “Sharing the Light” mission project to provide small crank-operated flashlights and multi-tools inscribed with Scripture verses for missionaries to distribute in rural northern Mexico. The weekend event included missions displays and opportunities to meet missionaries, outdoor activities and competitive events.At the close of the Sunday morning worship service, 21 boys and young men made public commitments to Christ.

 Baylor receives $2.5 million for conference center. The Paul and Jane Meyer Family Foundation gave $2.5 million to establish a conference center within the Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation at Baylor University. The Meyer Conference Center will be located adjacent to the Hankamer School of Business academic space within the $100 million, 275,000-square-foot Foster Campus.
