Wayland dedicates centennial statue

Beulah McInnish of Amarillo admires the statue of her grandfather, James Henry Wayland, that was unveiled at Wayland Baptist University. The dedication of the statue marked the beginning of the school’s centennial celebration. Wayland and his wife, Sarah, adopted McInnish after her mother died due to complications from childbirth.
