RE: Separation of church and state

I believe in the separation of church and state. I think politics and religion—and business—should be as separate as possible.

I don’t like it when politicians try to gain religious power or when religious leaders try to gain political power. I saw some of the remarks President Trump made at the National Prayer Breakfast.



I think Christians should practice what Jesus preached. Jesus believed in forgiveness, not revenge. He believed in “turning the other cheek,” not “casting stones.”

Of course, Jesus also said that people who pray in public are hypocrites.

I think all Christians should read the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7).
