Hold high believers’ baptism

I hate be a wet blanket, but quite honestly, many a “Baptist church member” has listened and digested the statement, “You don’t have to be baptized to be saved.” translating to “I don’t have to go to church to be in fellowship with other believers.”

In truth, yes, if you confessed belief in Jesus is Lord, and present yourself to be baptized, you can join the church in the fellowship of believers. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper and believers’ baptism should be placed in high regard as a statement for faith in Christ and membership in his body.
