The problem behind hungry children

We are constantly hearing about “the poor hungry children.”

It is usually in conjunction with the single-parent mom struggling to feed her children. What we don’t hear is the single-parent father.

To solve a problem, one must first know the problem. The problem is not one of hungry children; that is the consequence of the problem. The problem is children without parents; note the plural form. The problem is a society creating children without the sanction of marriage. Live together, have children, move on.

Any man who fathers children he does not support has no right to call himself a man.

This explains why Jesus Christ said, “One man, one woman for life.” Called family.
