RE: Voices: The immigration rule that violates our stated principles

The article by Patrick Adair: an opinion piece, I agree. Biased, most definitely. Helpful to the emotional state of our republic, not at all.

A few thoughts stirred within me are my concern for the future of our United States, the leadership lacking Christian principles at all levels, and the members of our society straying farther away each day from principles and morality that is God-glorifying.

Open-ended articles lacking the truth of the Scriptures cause separation in our thinking and hearts for God.

May we find common ground that brings us together. May we learn to be loving, caring, supportive individuals of our society. May we take personal responsibility for our actions and encourage others to do the same. May personal accountability become the norm.

We damage our witness and personal relationship with God when we allow idols of this world to be more important than serving each other.
