I had the vision of going to Guatemala, digging for water and being able to witness to the people through the water we were able to provide them. To my surprise, a vast majority of the villagers in Nueva Granada already were strong believers. They were so thankful for what God had already provided them, even when they didn’t have a cup of clean water to drink.
It brought so much truth to what Jesus says in John 4:10-14, which defines the mission of Living Water International. This mission trip allowed me to see clearly that in Christ, we shall never thirst for spiritual waters. Seeing how the people of Guatemala were so thankful and humble for the little they had made me want to work even harder to provide them with clean water. The Lord’s work was completed in the village, and they now have safe, clean drinking water.
