Breathtaking reminder of God’s might

Working as a missionary here at the Texas Baptist Children’s Home here in Round Rock has been incredible.

Recently, I had the privilege of going to Oklahoma to run a Vacation Bible School with some of the older kids. In our free time, we got to go up to the Wichita Mountains. My breath was taken away. God is hands-down my favorite artist. Being on top of a mountain is really one of the greatest feelings in the world. As I climbed some of the boulders, I couldn’t help but think: “One wrong move, or if one was to fall, and I’m dead.”

But here’s what really impressed me: My God created and can move these boulders with his thoughts and yet I still know him personally. A being so mighty chooses to love us on personal level. That is just phenomenal, but I don’t mind it.
