Prayers for Cuba

Looking back, my three weeks in Cuba were filled with immense blessings and time to be used by God.

During youth week, during children week and during women’s days, God gave me the opportunity to present the message four times to the whole congregation. Those were great experiences, to feel the Spirit give me the theme, the words to say and the strength to deliver what God placed on my heart. It was challenging, because
I was sick twice during my time in Cuba, and I struggle with my Spanish. But no matter the circumstances, God helped me finish his message.

I thank God for every day he has allowed me to serve in Cuba, and I give thanks for his ministry and his church here. Pray for the believers in Arriete, for them to rise up and follow God’s calling in their lives. Pray for the household who are starting prayer and Bible study meetings. Pray that the families of church members will come to know Christ.

Cynthia Peralta, a student at the University of Texas at Austin, served with Go Now Missions in Cuba.
