Reverend Mary Whitehurst is a native of Memphis, TN, but currently lives with her husband and 8-year-old son (both named Jamar) in Hutto, TX. She received a Bachelor’s in Social Work from TCU in 2006 and Master of Divinity from Baylor’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary in 2017. Mary and her family have been members of David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church for the past 12 years. She has a heart for ministering to girls and young women in crisis and currently serves full-time as CEO of The Source Austin, a free/low-cost women’s clinic and resource center.
