Thank you for the story on Miguel Angel Paredes. Through it, we are able to see the human being who is being killed by the state. It is a very sad story, but the good in it is that Miguel has come to know Jesus, and he is sorry for what he did at age 18.
I did not know him, but I will be present at an execution vigil in Corpus Christi tomorrow, and we will pray for him and his loved ones, as well as his victims, and for an end to state-sponsored killing.
